We as B+R GmbH develop and manufacture, under the consideration of Industry 4.0, mainly fully and partially automated special machines for the international plastics and automotive industry. Our scope of services also includes robot systems, palletizing machines, as well as handling and feeding systems. As a member of the owner-managed Schubert Group, our market portfolio also includes the automation of presses and shearing machines for the global forging industry.
For the energetic expansion of our team we are looking for a dedicated
Your tasks:
– Responsibility for the independent creation of plant concepts, designs and solutions for demanding tasks, while meeting specified deadlines.
– Carrying out calculations and simulations as well as significant participation in all stages of product development, from conception to the finished machine
– Participation in a team of development engineers from the areas of design, electronics, software and manufacturing, for the development of special machines in the areas of plastic article post-processing, palletizers, assembly lines, press automation, etc.
– Design and specification of purchased parts in cooperation with the purchasing department
– Supporting and accompanying sales, project management and manufacturing in the project implementation phase, up to the commissioning of the equipment
We are looking forward to:
– Degree in mechanical engineering or comparable technical qualification, e.g. by training as a technician or corresponding further training, as well as at least three years of professional experience with SolidWorks or comparable software and EDP applications
– methodical approach to problem solving and creative ideas for practical implementation
– practical experience in the design of special machines/automation solutions/packaging machines desirable
– pronounced quality and cost awareness
– focus on targeted design simplification and cost optimization of components
– independent, committed and structured way of working
– quick grasp of concepts and distinct creativity
– good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
– good internal/external communication skills
– ability to work in a team and target-oriented
